In the Kitzbüheler Alps you can head out on ski tours from the first snow fall (Bichlalm) and the high season (Kelchsau & Spertental) and right into spring (Wilder Kaiser & Kelchsau).
The Harschbichl on the "Kitzbüheler Horn" in St.Johann is a popular for ski tours.
Wednesday & Friday at the Harschbichl: the ascent route in the area of the Harschbichl-slope is open until 9.00 pm.
The ascent and descent route over the "Metzgerkreuz" and over the "Lacknerdownhill" is open until 10.00 pm.
Also for beginners, St.Johann offers mountain schools, such as Mountain instructor Andreas Helmer or hiking guide Georg Weihs.
